Following the Training Aid Framework issued by the Employment and Training Centre (ETC) of Malta , Reed Learning (Malta) would like to invite organisations and individuals to start benefiting from its programmes through this framework. Through the Training Aid Framework, local companies can invest in their human resources with the ETC giving financial assistance to those companies that invest in the training of their workforce. This scheme is available for companies in the private sector and the subsidy will vary according to the type of training and the size of the enterprise. Training can be in-house or out-sourced and can be given in Malta or abroad through distance learning. The training can even lead to a PhD. Self-employed persons will also be eligible. Each company will be eligible for a maximum of € 250,000 each year.If you're out of work or looking to fund training that's not related to your job you can find out more on the ETC website here.
A key objective of the Training Aid Framework funding is to make Malta better skilled and more competitive. Money is available to help all Maltese and Gozitan workers reach recognised qualifications. There is also funding available for specific regions, leadership and management training, and to help small businesses manage time out for learning.
The funding will help organisations look beyond hard economic times to where their sources of competitiveness will be in the longer term.
