What is it about?
SME's can make savings equating to 7-9.5% of turnover by doing things more efficiently via a green strategy. This course examines specific topics, including waste and energy management, and encourages you to identify areas where your organisation can make significant savings or generate further revenue.
This is the first 'Green/Environmental' qualification for managers in the UK, and we're delighted that the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) recognise the importance of managing business with a view to sustainability and corporate social responsibility, through accrediting this qualification.
Course Overview
The Green Manager qualification is a two day programme (always two consecutive weekdays). Held at our London training venue, you will attend two all day tutorial sessions with face to face tuition from, and discussion with, sustainability experts on how to minimise your business' environmental impact.

Assessment
This qualification is assessed by a written paper that you complete after your tuition. The paper is 2500 - 3000 words long, and is a written response to an exam question posed by the CMI, based on implementation of your learning in the workplace.
This paper is not taken under exam conditions.
You will take the paper home with you after the course, at which point you have 30 days to complete and submit your response. Your paper will be marked according to the strict criteria supplied by the CMI, and if successful you will gain a Level 5 Qualification.
